Honestly I don't know if which is the best because I only have 2 digital saving account one is my old bpi atm saving account and the other one is The Union Bank of the Philippines Personal saving account.
*What is a digital saving account?
- As far as I know digital saving account is different from online banking. Yes, I am 100% sure because thru digital saving account you can buy anything including cellphone load, do a fund transfer, and pay Bills unlike online banking in which you can do the basic ( check your balance ). Honestly I don't know if digital banking is safe but I love using it for some purpose.
If I Rank my 2 digital account MY Union Bank Personal Saving Account is #1 and My Bpi Atm Saving Account is #2.
1.) Union Bank Personal Saving Account - I like union bank because I just opened my account using the union bank app. It take me less than 10 minutes and I'm done. I recieved my atm card in just 4 working days.I love my union bank account even it has an annual fee of P350 because you can do anything using your account ( save and do a fund transfer ). The fund transfer is really the one I like of union bank because Pesonet is free and the instapay is cheaper compare to the other bank.
2.) BPI atm Account - this is my oldest saving account and I never closed it. I am very happy that bpi do an upgrade to their ancient account and transform it into digital saving . I think I will never close this account and wait for the future upgrade .
Honestly before I am thinking not to open a digital saving account for safety and I should be satisfied with only one digital saving account ( my bpi saving account ) but month ago I decided to open and try the union bank digital personal saving account because I really need another one for budgeting ( credit card payment and emergency fund ).
